CV Examples for Different Job Roles

Compare five role-specific CV examples and adapt their structure to your genuine background.

What you will learn

Different roles need different evidence. The examples in this lesson show how emphasis can change while the facts remain honest. They are fictional teaching profiles, projects, and contributions, not verified candidates, qualifications, or achievements to copy.

  • Compare evidence that matters for five target roles.
  • Understand how profile, skills, and project sections reinforce each other.
  • Adapt one structure to your actual background and a real vacancy.

How to use these examples responsibly

Read a real vacancy first, then choose the closest example as a structure. Replace every sample claim with your own evidence or remove it. Do not borrow a tool, qualification, project, or result because it appears in a sample.

Contact details, dates, institutions, and providers are left as placeholders to avoid inventing a complete history. The role headings indicate a target, not proof that a reader is qualified. Check country and employer conventions before submitting.

Compare role-specific evidence

The strongest CV is the one whose genuine examples address the actual responsibilities. These examples are a guide to emphasis, not a claim that every vacancy uses the same requirements.

Practical activity: adapt one example to a real vacancy

Choose the closest role and use only the structure of the sample.

  1. Find a suitable real advertisement and record its important requirements.
  2. Replace the sample profile with your genuine background and evidence.
  3. Replace each project or experience bullet with work you actually completed.
  4. Remove unsupported skills and label education and certifications correctly.
  5. Tailor the order and emphasis, then check dates, links, saved text, and local conventions.
  6. Ask for feedback and keep the submitted version with your application record.
